Hot Oil Treatment Recipe

HOT OIL TREATMENT RECIPE

  • Start with clean hair
  • Heat 6 tablespoons of Last Call Finishing Oil
  • Apply to hair and massage the scalp
  • Cover with plastic cap
  • Leave on for 30 minutes or 10 to 15 minutes under the dryer
  • Rinse with cold water
  • Shampoo & Condition

If hair is course & dry a Hot Oil treatment helps the oil to penetrate the hair shaft.  The heat helps the oil to penetrate by softening the hair cuticles so that the oil molecules enter quicker, and the hot oil seals the hair cuticles to strengthen and protect hair that may be fragile due to the dry weather, a harsh environment, or over styling.

Minimizes split ends and increase blood flow to the scalp to promote growth

Note:  Some hair textures require multiple shampoos to get the oil out of hair to avoid a greasy style.  Not recommended for very thin, fine textured hair or people with severe scalp conditions
